Shockwave

What is Shockwave?

Shockwave therapy, also known as extracorporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT), uses acoustic sound waves applied to painful soft-tissue areas. It is a non-invasive treatment commonly used for stubborn tendon and fascia-related problems that have not settled with rest or basic care alone.

How can it help your recovery?

Shockwave can help reduce persistent tendon pain and support tissue recovery when combined with a guided loading and rehabilitation plan. The aim is to make progressive exercise more tolerable so you can rebuild strength and return to the activities that keep you healthy.

What conditions can it help with?

Shockwave therapy can help with plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinopathy, tennis elbow, patellar tendinopathy, gluteal or hip tendon pain, and other chronic tendinopathies that continue to limit training, walking, or daily movement.
