Dry Needling
What is Dry Needling?
Dry needling is a treatment technique that uses fine needles to target tight or sensitive points in muscle tissue, often called myofascial trigger points. It is used as part of a broader physiotherapy or rehabilitation plan to help ease muscle tension and improve movement comfort.
How can it help your recovery?
When muscles stay tight or overactive, they can limit mobility and keep pain lingering. Dry needling can help release local muscle tension, reduce discomfort, and create a better window for stretching, strengthening, and returning to exercise with less restriction.
What conditions can it help with?
Dry needling can help with muscle tightness, trigger-point related pain, neck and shoulder tension, lower back muscle irritability, and sports-related muscular overload where soft tissue restriction is contributing to symptoms.
